No, WiseFins is not a replacement for your PnL or Daily Revenue Report (DRR). It's designed to work alongside them, not instead of them.
Why you still need your PnL/DRR
Your PnL and DRR remain your official financial records. They include the manual and PMS-driven adjustments (night audit corrections, package reallocations, and so on) that reflect your finalized accounting. WiseFins won't replace that role, and it isn't meant to.
What WiseFins adds
Your financial reports tell you what happened. WiseFins tells you why. It pulls data directly from your POS in real time, giving you the granular, item-level detail (by meal period, guest type, day of week, and more) that a PnL or DRR simply isn't built to show.
Think of it this way:
- PnL/DRR = your official record of results.
- WiseFins = the analysis layer that explains those results and helps you act on them.
In short
You'll still run your PnL and DRR exactly as you do today. WiseFins sits on top, turning that data into the patterns, insights, and actions your team needs to actually improve the numbers, not just report them.
