Beyond the basic filters (Property, Revenue Center, Timeline), most of the donuts and graphs across your dashboards are themselves clickable, letting you drill into your data with a single click.
How it works
Click on any segment of a donut chart or bar in a graph (for example, "Lunch" on the Total Revenue/Meal Period chart, a specific payment method like "Visa" on the Revenue Breakdown chart, or a specific day like "Friday" on the Avg Revenue/Day of Week chart), and the entire dashboard instantly filters to show only that data. Each filter you apply appears as its own tag near the top left of the page (e.g., mealPeriod.keyword: Lunch).
Stacking filters
You're not limited to one click. You can layer multiple filters on top of each other to drill into increasingly specific questions. For example: "What item is being sold for dinner on Fridays at 8pm specifically?" You could click Dinner, then Friday, then click the 20:00 (8pm) bar on the Avg. Revenue/Hours chart, landing on exactly that slice of data without building a custom report.
How far can you go?
As far as you want. You can keep adding filters until there's simply no data left to show, we call this "filtering to death." It's a great way to explore very specific questions on the fly.
Removing a filter
Each active filter appears as a tag near the top left of the page. Click the ✕ on any individual tag to remove that specific filter, your other filters stay in place. Remove them one by one to widen your view back out.
💡 Tip: Combine this with the basic filters. Set your Property, Revenue Center, and Timeline first (see: "How Do I Use the Basic Filters?"), then use chart clicks to drill deeper into that specific view.
