Is WiseFins replacing my reporting tools (PnL/DRR)?
No. Your PnL and DRR remain your official financial records. WiseFins sits alongside them, pulling real-time POS data to show you why your numbers move, not replacing your existing reports.
→ See: "Is WiseFins Replacing My Reporting Tools (PnL/DRR)?"
How do I use the basic filters?
Set your Property and Revenue Center first, then your Timeline last, using Quick Select, common presets, or a custom date/time range. These filters appear across the Overview, Financial, and Environmental dashboards.
→ See: "How Do I Use the Basic Filters?"
Why is there a variance between my PnL/DRR and WiseFins data?
WiseFins mirrors your POS exactly in real time. Your PnL/DRR may include manual finance adjustments or automatic PMS adjustments (like package splits) made after the POS data is recorded, which WiseFins won't reflect.
→ See: "Why Is There a Variance Between My PnL/DRR and WiseFins Data?"
What systems does WiseFins integrate with?
WiseFins connects with POS systems (Infrasys, Simphony, Agilysys, etc.), Purchasing systems (Birchstreet, Check SCM, iScala, etc.), and Reservation systems (TableCheck, SevenRooms, etc.).
→ See: "What Systems Does WiseFins Integrate With?"
How and when will I be invoiced?
Most clients are billed annually, invoiced shortly after rollout and then yearly thereafter. Invoices are payable within 30 days via bank transfer.
→ See: "How and When Will I Be Invoiced?"
Can I add or remove Revenue Centers?

→ See: "Can I Add or Remove Revenue Centers?"
How do I improve my margin?
Margin comes from multiple levers working together: revenue management, reducing F&B and labor costs, using Menu Engineering effectively, and smart menu design. Start with revenue and cost visibility, the rest builds from there.
→ See: "How Do I Improve My Margin?"
How do I use the Menu Engineering feature effectively?
Filter by category to compare apples-to-apples, review monthly (not just when something looks wrong), and don't just focus on "Replace" items, your Satisfactory and Unsatisfactory items often hold the easiest wins.
→ See: "How Do I Use the Menu Engineering Feature Effectively?"
What Is a Revenue Center?
A Revenue Center is any distinct outlet, business unit, or point of sale within your property whose performance is tracked separately, most commonly a specific restaurant, bar, or F&B outlet (e.g., "Trattoria 1," "Trattoria 2").
In WiseFins, each Revenue Center you subscribe to can be selected individually or in combination using the Revenue Center filter, letting you view data for a single outlet or compare/combine several at once.
How many Revenue Centers do I have?
Your subscription includes a set number of Revenue Centers, view your active ones anytime via the Revenue Center filter on your dashboards.
Want to add one?
See: "Can I Add or Remove Revenue Centers?"
